As of January 17, 2012:
...In the Spring of 2003, a long-time Christian school supporter approached our Foundation with a question about whether they could place some funds with us that they were not yet prepared to gift, but that could still somehow benefit a member school in the meantime. As a result of our partnership with Christian Stewardship Services, we were able to offer the opportunity to place their funds in a Revocable Deposit Agreement (RDA) where a participant agrees to sharing a minimum of 50% of the net interest earnings with our Foundation and where they may, in turn, designate these funds to flow-through to the school(s) of their choosing. Their original funds along with additional deposits are still held in their RDA along with funds from 20+ other individuals/couples in what we call "our RDA investor pool". The pool total now exceeds $1.35M and includes varying amounts - from $10,000 through to six-figures and offers our Foundation the opportunity to gift thousands annually to our member schools.
The Foundation for Niagara & Hamilton area Christian Schools Annual General Meeting (re fiscal 2010/2011 - ending August 31, 2011) takes place on Thursday, January 19, 2011 at 7:30 pm at the Head Office in Smithville.

- Our strategic planning process resulted in the orgranizing and hosting of a Foundation Roundtable on Friday, November 25 at Aberfoyle Mill. Our Guiding Document was shared and discussed with a variety of opinions heard from representatives of other regional foundations along with affiliated foundations and organizations. - Our next Executive Committee meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 10 am at the Head Office. If you wish to bring a matter to the Executive Committee's attention, please contact our Head Office in advance by phone or email - office@schoolfoundation.ca
- Our full Board is scheduled to meet on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Head Office in Smithville. The 2010/2011 Annual General Meeting will be held simultaneously at this Board meeting.
